If you remember at the end of the previous episode when tony thinks back to a conversation he had with Bobby. They were talking about how when it happens [that is, when you get whacked] you probably don’t even know it. everything just goes black.

that is what happened at the end. we witness tony get whacked from tony’s point of view. if he got a bullet straight in his head, then he would probably have no idea what happened. he would probably never know what hit him. and consequently, he would never know ANYTHING after that.

So the ending created a sense of what its like to get whacked. BAM! End of story.

Camera works great..stills are OK, nothing too great, but decent…Video quality is excellent. Battery life is meeeh, soso.. I get 2 hours on each battery. I had to buy a battery charger from Best Buy for like $75 but I’m returning it because i found the same charger on ebay for $5. Weird.

Install was flawless, after rebooting my phone i was surprised how well the application integrated itself with the default text messaging system. Only thing i noticed that i didn’t like was if you let your message get too full, or have too many conversations going at once, the messaging will delay when trying to send and compose new messages. All in all i like the program, so I registered it for ~$15 and will continue to use it.

My New Years Resolution was to start getting my finances straightened and out of debt that was caused from students loans and other expenses while I was attending classes. With my salary and the money that I make from my freelance work there should be no reason why I’m not living much more comfortably then I am now.

I just started using Mint which is a free online money management suite, which synchronizes with all my credit card and bank accounts, sends me email notificiton, tracks my purchases/expenses and so much more!

Hey… just found this post after looking for a little while thanks. Wanted to add i was using a plugin called redirection to handle when i rename posts and also to help remove the category base from the permalink url.

The plugin was causing a 404 when going to page 2. I had to disable one of it’s redirect matches. I haven’t ascertained whether it will throw off the rest of my site… we shall see.

Interesting point you raised here Mike. I’ve been “unsuccessfully” using WP-E Commerce with Authorize.net for the past 2 months.

EVERY time somebody tried to do a transaction it would crash my site and I would lose a sale.

My interesting point is this . . . Since it appears you and Instinct and Shayne fixed this in April 2008, why has the authorize.php file not yet been replaced on their installation files that new users are downloading?

It sure would have saved me a TON of grief had they swapped out their file with the change file you have.

Hopefully they’ll get this message.

I’m working on getting it installed (vb 3.7.3 + Wordpress 2.6.3). I have the blog homepage taken care of in terms of noting the # of comments and directing them properly to the comment page. However, I am having problems with the single post page, where I want to be able to have it display the comments from the thread directly on the post, then offer to have the user post theirs by directing them to the forum.

The forum has been up for a few months and now I’m pretty much finished designing the blog page.
We would like the users to be able to login once either at the blog page or in the forum, without having to login again when switching back and forth.

Dude, thank you sooooo much. I spent 3 hours trying to figure this out and almost pulled my hair out. You are a king amongst men!

You must never execute things such as ‘Disk Repair’ or ‘Permission Repair’ on a damaged hard disk.
The right way to do is to create a raw copy of the disk (using diskdump – dd), and play with the copy only, leaving the disk untouched.
You should have booted a linux live cd (like Ubuntu) instead of apple’s recovery disk, and then you would have been able to access your hard drive from there.

so all of you’re files (music, movies, pictures, word documents, presentations) along with applications (like microsoft word) were restored in the “Previous System 1″ folder after re-installing the OS?

sorry, i just want to make sure i dont lose my files or anything and im trying to avoid losing my laptop by sending it in to apple for anywhere between 2-6 weeks although i am in warranty.

the problem is that i also installed a security update from apple and now my computer is stuck on the apple with circular progress bar as long as i let it continue.

My only problem is using Wordpress’ option of using a static homepage. On the page that I selected as the Posts page, the page links break. When I click on a different page number, I get redirected to my 404 error page.

Do you know how to solve this problem?

It may help to know that I am also using the Advanced Category Excluder plugin by DjZoNe. However, even when I tell it not to exclude any categories for both the home and archive pages, it still doesn’t work.

This is my query_posts function:

I created a function that allows me to dynamically change which categories are included in the archive list.

I hope this makes sense, and any help will be awesome.

Logging in redirects me to forum, all fine. I log in, and I’m logged in to wordpress as well, great!

But when I log out of vBulletin, close my browser, and later come back to see the wordpress page, I am still logged in in Wordpress! But I am logged out of vBulletin.

So logging out of vBulletin does not log me out of Wordpress, unless I directly visit wordpress page after logging out of vBulletin.

I know all your document will be archived into the previous system directory…but not too sure about the Applications..you may need to reinstall any software you have installed…but don’t worry about losing your docs or anything you have stored inside home “home” folder (docs, pictures etc.)

Hi Michael, this fix is working fine, but when using a numbered pagination with a plugin like “wp-page-numbers” there are empty pages because excluded items are included in the total count. Do you have any idea how to fix that? Thank you!

When I delete a post from WP the thread is not deleted from VB and when i edit/update a post in WP, it’s republished as a new thread in the forum.
