Home for the Holidays
I just got back to Vegas from my hometown in NY where I spent the holidays visiting with friends and family. I had a fun but didn’t get much work done. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing because I needed a vacation to clear my mind and recharge.
It was freezing to say the least, I almost forgot what cold weather really is. The first couple days there was a winter weather advisory and driving bans on the roads so I took some pictures of that nonsense, you can see more on my Flickr stream.
Despite the weather it was nice to party with all my friends I haven’t seen in a while. Spent most of my time in local bars and restaurants. Ate lots of Pizza and Buffalo Wings and about 47 chicken finger subs since they are unheard of on the West Coast.
A couple of us decided to go to the Bills vs Patriots home game and froze our asses off, where I actually caught on fire because I was standing too close to a barrel fire. I was pretty lucky because my skin didn’t get burnt just my pants and boots, good thing I was layered up I guess.
Now it’s back to work….
