Showbiz Sandbox is a podcast site focused on providing quality content to those who follow the Entertainment Industry. This project was developed for a client from the ground up using Wordpress as it’s CMS. (more soon) Launch Site..

Southern Capital Associates needed their website redesigned. Along with a new logo and other miscellaneous identity creations (desktop wallpapers etc.), I’m lazy and that’s all for now.. Launch Site..
I created this custom PHPBB3 Style so omnitheme.com’s support forums would match the rest of the site, which is a premium Wordpress Theme.
I’ve been working on re-designing the company website since I started working for Spinneybeck in 2006. At first things were moving along smoothly, although I wasn’t totally for it, the boss wanted the new site done completely in Flash. So we worked on an entire flash design for months knowing that eventually we will need to outsource to have a custom shopping cart integrated into the new flash design.
Unfortunately We couldn’t use an out-of-box shopping cart like Flashcart without heavy modification because our current shopping cart is very unique. Aside from the few products we sell as standard widgets, different types of products can be purchased through our site, one of which are leather samples that are free to customer as well as the shipping. The other type of products are Leather Rugs, that require individual photos for each rug, and as soon as one of these rugs are purchased they need to be removed from the site. So we were able to hire a team of developers to integrate our flash design into an .ASP powered website complete with a custom shopping cart.
I am pleased to announce the new SPINNEYBECK.COM. Below are a few screen shots to overview the improvements from the old site.

I’ve ran a blog devoted to the rollerblading industry for some time now, this blog was named ‘Get Loose Media’ (www.getloosemedia.com). The site featured up-to-date news, a photo gallery, a message forums and even a downloads section that was populated with movies, music albums, skate edits/videos. This site never generated any revenue and was only maintained by myself for recreational purposes. Now considering my passion for rollerblading and my desire to make money on something I enjoy doing, I’ve decided to come up with someway to market this blog, and in return make some money.
The first step was to come up with a new name, something that was catchy, unique and easy to market. After thinking about it for a few weeks I came up with ‘Buffaroll’ which kind of speaks for it self. The sites content will remain the same, and its purpose will be to update, network and hype the WNY rolling scene. I plan on landing some affiliate deals with some boot companies and other part manufacturing companies in return making a percentage of sales that were directed from my site (www.buffaroll.com). So the more hits I get and the more impressions my ads make on users, the more money I can make.
Once I get things rolling, I plan on getting some print design done, some T-shirts and other ways to advertise the site. Maybe one day, I can take this online business to the next level and open a local shop, possibly even a skate park. We’ll have to wait and see how things unfold.
Be sure to check out things on the new site www.buffaroll.com and if you were part of the get loose media community, your membership will be carried over to the new site. Also if you attempt to access getloosemedia.com you will be redirected to buffaroll.com.
I’ve been helping out a co-worker with a non-for profit organization that he just started. On top of editing his first DVD video I’ve made him a website: www.takeemoutdoors.com
Take ‘Em Outdoors is a non for profit organization started by a local hunter that happens to work in the warehouse of my company (Spinneybeck) in Amherst, NY.
Rob Grant’s goal is to raise money by selling hunting videos to donate to organizations and groups that will provide opportunities to get kids outdoors and into the wilderness.
I’ve been helping Rob out a great deal with this project. Not only have I designed him a custom layout and am currently hosting the website, but I’m also editing the hunting footage for the DVD video, which will be for sale mid November 2007.
Oh, by the way, !dsfasdf!
